Sacred Mandalas

When I create a Mandala, my intention is to breathe a living prayer, draw in the viewer and hold space for healing & deep transformation.

I was inspired  many years ago by the art and sacred tradition of mandalas. My immediate attraction was to the ritual and the geometry of mandala making. Circles and squares have long been a part of my artistic language and are present in most of my creations.

While studying Feng Shui, I learned that a circle represents heaven & a square represents earth. Together they form Heaven on Earth. This combination of shapes is very powerful & supportive.

“Contemporary artist, Michelle Zanoni Chinn, has an astounding ability to inspire awe and ignite joy through her creations. Her art is tasteful and original. Her creations are filled with an aliveness of each subject that she is called to bring through. Each creation breaths their own consciousness and dance within the eye of the observer, who is integral to the creative process. Quite literally, Michelle’s work is an experience of multidimensional reality coming to life. My personal experience when I view into the soul of her creations is that I remember my own. On many occasions, Michelle’s original art is featured as the main altar piece for healing retreats hosted by Celebrating Life Ministries (CLM). Her work helps to anchor the healing energies to move powerfully through the congregation as a living expression of God Breathed.”
